The category

Sugar reduction is a formulation problem, not a substitution.

Take the sugar out and you lose sweetness, body, mouthfeel and the way the drink finishes. Swap in a high-intensity sweetener on its own and you get an early, sharp sweetness with a bitter or metallic tail and a drink that feels thin.

Our liquid sweetener systems are blended and balanced before they reach you: sweetener combination chosen for your target reduction, curve corrected so it does not spike and drop, and body restored so the drink still feels like a drink.

What we supply

How it is supplied

01

Pre-solubilised and stable

No powder handling on the floor, no undissolved fines, no operator-to-operator variation in the batch.

02

Blended for the curve

Sweetener combinations chosen so onset, peak and finish track sugar rather than spiking early.

03

Mouthfeel corrected

Body agents included where needed, so a reduced-sugar drink does not read as watery.

04

Dosed in-line

Specified as millilitres per hectolitre for your batch size, with dosing guidance for your mixer.

Applications

Typical applications

Blend and dosage are specified per application — the same sweetener does not suit every base.

Carbonated soft drinks

Zero and reduced-sugar builds at low pH.

Energy drinks

Sugar-free builds where bitterness stacks with caffeine.

Flavoured water

Very light sweetening without a lingering tail.

RTD tea

Balancing tannin astringency without added sugar.

Functional and protein

Sweetening over actives that already bring bitterness.

Dispensed and post-mix

Post-mix and fountain applications with dilution factored in.

Technical notes

What we specify with it

01

Sweetness equivalence

Dosage stated against your current sugar level, verified in your base rather than calculated.

02

Bitter and metallic tail

Blend adjusted and modulators added so the finish stays clean.

03

pH and heat stability

Stability confirmed at your pH and through your pasteurisation or hot-fill step.

04

Label and regulatory

Declaration wording and permitted-use limits confirmed for your target markets.

Common questions

Liquid sweetener — asked and answered

Can you match my current sugar level exactly?

We work to sweetness equivalence in your actual base, then adjust on tasting. Calculated equivalence alone rarely tastes right.

Which sweetener system will you recommend?

It depends on the market, the label you want and the base. Aspartame suits a clean, sugar-like profile, and sucralose or ace-K blends suit low pH and long shelf life.

Do you supply the flavour too?

Yes — and it is better together. Sugar reduction changes how the flavour reads, so the two should be reformulated as one system.
