The category

Most preservation failures are dosing failures.

Powder preservatives get weighed by hand, dissolve incompletely and end up unevenly distributed — so plants over-dose to be safe, which costs money, risks a label problem and can leave a detectable note in the drink.

A liquid system removes that variability. It is supplied pre-solubilised at a known concentration, dosed in-line, and specified against your pH, your pack and the shelf life you actually claim.

What we supply

How it is supplied

01

Pre-solubilised

Known concentration, fully dissolved, no fines and no hand-weighing at the tank.

02

Matched to pH

Blend chosen for where your product actually sits, since preservative efficacy is pH-dependent.

03

Specified to shelf life

Dosage set against your claim period, pack and distribution temperature — not a generic maximum.

04

Dosed in-line

Millilitres per hectolitre for your batch size, with dosing guidance for your process.

Applications

Typical applications

System and dosage are specified per product — pH, sugar level and pack all change the answer.

Carbonated soft drinks

Low pH, long ambient shelf life.

Juice and nectar

Higher spoilage risk and yeast pressure.

Flavoured water

Low-acid, low-solids, minimal protection.

RTD tea

Ambient distribution with light exposure.

Alcohol-free

No ethanol protection at all.

Concentrates and bases

High-sugar bases and dispensed systems.

Technical notes

What we specify with it

01

pH and efficacy

Blend and dosage set against your measured pH, where efficacy changes sharply.

02

Shelf-life validation

Challenge and accelerated trials against your claim period and distribution conditions.

03

Sensory neutrality

Confirmed that at working dosage there is no detectable note, which over-dosing often causes.

04

Regulatory limits

Permitted levels and declaration wording confirmed for each target market.

Common questions

Liquid preservative — asked and answered

Can I use less preservative if I pasteurise?

Often yes. Preservation should be designed together with your thermal step and pack, which is usually where savings are found.

Will it change the taste?

Not at a correctly specified dosage. Detectable notes almost always trace back to over-dosing or uneven distribution.

Do you validate the shelf life?

We run challenge and accelerated trials against your claim period, pack and distribution temperature before signing off a dosage.
